We have been here two weeks now, and money is starting to come in. It is only at a trickle at the moment as to what we need for us to reach our goal of Millionaire by the 16th of August 2009, it is coming in none the less!
We have now three revenue streams, we have money coming in from Google AdSense, From Liberty League and of course my wife is working to pay the day to day stuff until we can get on our feet.
We have had two beyond freedom sales this week which equates to $1,000 USD for each one. Every bit helps!
As you can see I have been making some changes to the site as I said I would be, there are now two more inclusions on the side bar. Both from Amazon.com.
You are able to purchase gift cards through this website for your friends or family.
You will also notice a "Book of the Month" area, each month I will post my choice of books of the month, these will be book that I have read and that have helped us get to where we are.
This first of these is in fact 'Who Moved my Cheese' by Ken Blanchard. This is a great book, not very long, however the lessons in it are priceless and if you can take the lesson from it you can use it in everyday life. Its great!
OK so what can I tell you today that will help to make the most of things?
Lets look at gratitude.
Gratitude is one of the most important things in actually succeeding in something, and most people do not take the time to give thanks for the smaller things.
We are all very quick to moan about the things we do not have, and we give little thought about all the wonderful things we do have.
Giving thanks everyday can be as simple as saying thank you to world for allowing you to see its splendor, or even for the fact that you can walk, talk, dance, sing (well some of us) or simply that you are lucky enough to have the love and support of family and friends.
The universe is a very funny and powerful force. It really does have the power to give and to take something away from you. I am sure there are some cynics out there, to be fair they are probably not reading this BLOG anymore, why? because it falls outside of their context, their area of knowledge, or probably more accurately their comfort zone.
So how can you make use of this in your everyday life? Easy, ask yourself three simple questions each and everyday to start your day off.
- What am I thankful for today?
- What do I love more about myself today?
- What do I love more about my partner today?
Feel free to leave comments and suggestions here, we would love to hear from you, to hear your stories and help in anyway we can.
Until next time ponder this;
"Whether you believe you can, or whether you believe you can not, you are right!"
Henry Ford.
