Ready for 2009?

Well it has been a couple of weeks since I last posted. Of course as I am sure most of you will appreciate this is a busy time of year when people are catching up with family and friends

I was lucky enough to spend Christmas with my Beautiful wife and we had a nice relaxing time, we donated our morning to the less fortunate than ourselves and helped serve Christmas Dinner at a Supported Accommodation Hostel. And in the evening we got to enjoy watching our daughter come home and open her presents. Truly Fabulous.

Now there was only one downside to my Christmas, and that was that I was unable to see my own family, my sisters and my parents. Now I do not say this to invoke sympathy, far from it. This was due to a decision I made in July of this year. The Decision was that I was no longer going to settle for, or listen to people who were not having the results I desired in life. Was it an easy decision? Well that depends on entirely how you wish to look at it.

I mean if you look at the face of it, of course it was a hard decision to make, who wants to miss out on seeing their family on Christmas?
However if we look deeper then, no it was not a hard decision at all, why?
Well the way I look at it is this, I could forgo this Christmas with my family and remain focused on what it is that I am setting out to achieve here, which of course it total Financial Freedom, and be able to spend every Christmas hereafter with them in pure indulgence,
or
I could give up on my dreams and aspirations and conform to society.

So was it a hard decision, NO, it was not.

So how does 2009 look for you? Are you worried about the economy? Are you a bit like chicken little and think that perhaps the sky is falling?

You know 2009 has the ability to be the best you have ever experienced, really. All it takes is a decision to act, that's all anything ever takes.

So what can you do to make 2009 the best ever?
You can start by asking yourself what it was you truly desire from life.
If you can honestly answer yes, then I congratulate you and wish you the all best, you obviously have it all figured out.
If not then ask your self why not? Why is it that you do not have all that it is you desire. You may be shocked to hear what your sub conscious mind tells you.
If you are not where you deserve to be, and everybody was born with the right to absolute riches, then could it possibly be because that your own best thinking got you to where you are?
So therefore if your current actions are not producing the results you desire, would it not make sense to change your actions.
OK so we have decided to change our actions, how will you know if what you are doing is right? The answer is that you more than likely won't, well that is of course unless you follow the path of someone who has gone before you. In the last 18months two years I have certainly had many ups and downs, and I must say that ALL of the ups have come from when I have listened to advice from someone who was where I aspired to be.
And in all fairness unless the people that you are asking for advice on whether you should or whether you should not do something are more often than not scared that if you break free of your current rut and leave them behind because they are to scared to make a decision themselves. UNLESS THEY HAVE THE RESULTS YOU DESIRE YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS IN LISTENING TO THEM!!!!! They will only drag you down to their level.

I am committed to making 2009 the most lucrative in my life, and in doing so I will be helping a few brave souls realise their dreams and financial desires also.

The business I am in will be making history in 09, the current company record, which was set in September of 08, of $181,000US will be shattered in 2009, there WILL be 6 figures weeks!!!

And people on my team will be some of the people who will be doing it, could it be you?

I love my life and I am grateful for all the lessons I have had in my life, I am especially grateful for the last 18 months of my life, I have married my beautiful wife and found the greatest community of like minded people!
2009 for us will be opening of the flood gates!

You CAN do it too

Make it a great New Year!

Living at the Cause rather than Effect

Well, its been a few days hasn't it?!
My apologies for this. It is really very sad that there has been no updates in the last week as there has been so many things going on and so many new insights.

We have been to Sydney in the last few days to See John Lavenia, he was there for his Bridging the Gap: Knowledge to Wisdom seminar and also to promote his new Book 'Integrity is Everything', which of course is now available for sale here.
It was of course great to catch up with John and other like minded people, people who are living at the cause, rather than the effect of life.

So really that's what I wanted to touch on with this post.

What does it mean to live at the cause of your circumstances rather than the effect?
In essence it is living with the understanding of why you are where you are in life and whether or not you have the ability, or more accurately the belief that you have the power to change your outcome, any outcome.
I was speaking with someone I consider to be a very good friend yesterday, she is a woman who knows what it takes to succeed. Lets call her Jill.
Yet when I spoke to her yesterday Jill was living at the effect of her circumstances. Meaning that she was letting them get the better of her. At the start of our conversation all Jill could tell me about was everything that was going wrong, and how people didn't understand, and everyone was saying this and that, and like chicken little the sky was falling.

Now having been down a similar path before in life I was not about to stand by and let a Woman who knew to be successful feed me the dribble she was feeding me. We had a great conversation and it was not long before Jill was starting to see the positive in the things she had in her life, like her family, I know they mean the world to her, yet they were over looked as a positive. Again we come back to getting what you focus on. Like energy attracts like energy.
It was not long before I was talking to the Jill that I knew the tenacious victor who does not stop until she has succeeded! And of course that is success, never giving up, obviously the only people who truly fail in life are the ones who quit!

So how does all this tie in I hear you say, well it is very simple, when we live at the cause of our circumstances we can then change them, now I am not saying that just by changing our thought process that things will instantaneously snap to how you think they should be, well actually yes I am. The reason I say this is because change happens in an instant, that is when you DECIDE. Because with the change of thought you allow new possibilities to arise that you would never have seen while you were living in the effect of your circumstances.

I guess another way of looking at it would be when you are living at the cause you are living in the end result, much in the same way you are when you are BEing. You see they all tie in together. And again these are not new principles or philosophies, they have been around since the dawn of time. It is the Human condition that enslaves us to live life at the effect of our circumstances, unfortunately it is only a handful of people that truly understand this and let go and have the faith in the universe to move forward with life and let them have what ever it is that they truly desire. We always get what we ask for, it just may not show up in the package we expect it to. So in there lies a message also, be careful what you wish for, you just may get it.

Now I mentioned Faith in that last sentence, and I just want to touch on the opposite of faith, which of course is FEAR. FEAR is the biggest hindrance to progress in the world, we have all heard the term 'oh once bitten twice shy' and of course for the bulk of the population of this planet, yes the masses, this is exactly how the live, and this is part of the Human condition. Now there are many ANAGRAM for FEAR the one I want to look at however is this, False Evidence Appearing Real. The reason this false evidence will appear real to you is because you hear things from your parents or your best friend or your partner like, 'Oh so and so tried that and it didn't work' and more often than not, it is not that it didn't work, its 99.9% of the time that 'so and so' didn't work. They stopped, or they didn't follow the system. what ever the point is that when there is a proven system that works and someone doesn't have the desired results, its because that someone obviously didn't want it bad enough, or would rather live life at the effect and blame someone else and live below the line. And I guess the biggest reason is because you go looking for why it will fail, again, you get what you focus on. John Lavenia touched on this on a conference call the other day, he said and I quote;
"You never here anyone say, 'Oh that is to bad to be true' only every 'It must be too good to be true'"
It's the human condition, its who we have been brought up to be. We can change it!

Yes I think differently to most, and I am so incredibly thankful for that every day I am a live, and to be honest I am alive because of the fact. If I thought like the masses then given some of my circumstances or when I may have been living at the effect of, I could have happily ended things, and if for nothing else but the fact that I DO think differently I am still here.

So again it all comes down to choices, we all have the choice to live a the cause of our circumstances and live a life by design.
Or
you can live at the effect of our circumstances and continue to blame everybody else for how shitty and miserable your life has become.

Now this quote has been posted here before, however I want you all to read it and really let it sink in, really;

"All that we are, is a result of what we have thought.

The mind is Everything.

What we think, we become".

That's about all I have for this post, I do look forward to reading some of your replies, feel free to post them here rather than emailing them to me.

Book of the Month; Rich Dad, Poor Dad

Hi All,
well it is that time of the month again, my recommendation this month is 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' by Robert Kiyosaki.
This best seller is one of the all time greats in personal development, it gives great fundamentals that when put into practice and followed yield some fantastic results.
If it is not already on your shelves then I urge you to go out and get your hands on a copy, this book is something that many successful people go back to time and time again. And remember, successful people are in the habit of doing things that failures don't like to do, like moving ahead in spite of what is being said or done around them.

Winston Churchill said that 'Success is moving from failure to failure without lose of enthusiasm'

Enjoy the book and of course keep checking back here to get the updates.
There will be a Christmas surprise coming up soon.

Enjoy

Global Financial Crisis

HI all, once again, the title link goes back to 'Movember' so you can still donate there only a few days to go now, and to be fair I am looking forward to having a shave!

Now today the title says Global Financial Crisis, so I really just want to touch on what it means to the masses and what it means to the minority.
For anyone who has read any of Robert Kiosaki''s books you will know that it really doesn't matter what the economy is doing if you mitigate your risk. When Kiosaki talks about mitigating risk he is in fact referring to educating yourself against what could happen.
In plenty of other teachings we know that when we focus on something thing we are going to get it, and if we then add emotion to the mix, then we are going to get it super fast!

So now think of this, the masses listen to the media, they watch TV the News, all the doom and gloom that is happening around the world, ever heard of Chicken Little? I think you get the picture.
Now the reason I bring this observation up is simple. Note that the sentence said 'the masses listen to the media' So they watch, they read, and all of a sudden, where is their attention now directed? On the doom and gloom right? So therefore due to the law of attraction, they get what they focus on, and if we are referring to the 'Global financial crisis' all we are hearing is that people are being laid off, unemployment is rising, retirement funds are shrinking. Note, all of this is bad, negative news. There is nothing good about it, again, if we focus on that, we are destined only to get more of it.
So then if the masses listen to the media, and watch the news and focus on that, what does the minority focus on and do?
Well I have read in more than one piece of literature that Average people watch the news and media, and that's why they have average results.
What the minority do then is fill their mind with empowering information in order for them to prosper even when the markets are down, or the 'global economy' is shaky.
In effect they DO NOT LISTEN TO THE HYPE AND BULLSHIT that the masses do.
I have been privileged enough to have seen a sneak preview of my good friend John Lavenia's book 'Integrity is everything' and I am so excited to say that John nails this right on the head. It is one of the best books I have had the pleasure of reading on the topic of personal development. It is no holds barred and written in very plain easy to understand English. The chances are if you do not get the message or understand what it is about, they you may very well be stuck where you are right not for sometime, you see it takes a different way of thinking to succeed in any climate, and this is what the Minority know. Johns book is due for its first shipping on the 1st of December, you can purchase it here

OK, so you have heard why the 'global financial crisis' does not effect the minority, and in case you missed it, IT IS BECAUSE THEY CHOOSE NOT TO LET IT EFFECT THEM. So then what can you do about it?
Well the first thing is make a choice not to be a Victim and take control of your life. It might not be comfortable, think of it this way tho, whats a bigger price to pay?

The price of failure and living week to week for the rest of your life?
Or
Growing a little now and going through the discomfort for a little time to have anything and everything you want.
I am sorry, this is a no brainer for me. Hence we have set this massive goal to show you it is very possible to make a million in a year, just with the right mindset!

The second thing you want to do is get very clear on what you want out of life, this is not a dress rehearsal, once you have the clarity and laser focus, the rest falls into place. Once you get emotionally involved in what you want to achieve then it will come super quick, the same as with negative thoughts about the lack of money, you are sure to have a lack of money.

It is that simple, and think of this, what sort of people do you hear saying things like; 'If it sounds to good to be true, then it must be'?
If you said the masses you are right, you really don't hear that sort of comment from the people who seemingly have it all, and it because that know beyond doubt that anything is possible, so long as you believe it is.

I am lucky in the sense that I starting thinking differently when I was a lot younger, I always knew that there was a way out there to have anything I wanted, now, as I have stated previously, it has not always been easy or comfortable. That's OK, because 'the juice is worth the squeeze' Through many trials and tribulations I found a business that is economy proof.
Despite all the doom and gloom in the media, world wide, people are still making anywhere from $1,000 to $20,000 a week. Do you think these people are worried about what the media is saying? I think not.

If you would like to know more about the business opportunity I speak of then visit here to find out what it is all about.
I choose to work with about 8 people per month that are serious about making some changes in their lives and who have some big goals and ambitions. Is that you?

Make it a great day, you all most certainly deserve it.

When riches begin to come they come so quickly, in such great
abundance, that one wonders where they have been hiding during all those
lean years.

Winners Creed

Again the title Link is there so you can easily dontate to Movember!

Here is a little something that was passed on to me from Kurek Ashely, it has served he and I both well, and I would like to share it with you, so here it is;

The Winners Creed.

I know I have the ability to achieve my definite purpose in life; therefore I

Demand of myself persistent continuous action towards its attainment,

And here and now promise to render such action.

I fully realise that no wealth or position can long endure unless built upon truth and justice;

Therefore I will engage in no transaction which does not benefit all whom it effects.

I am succeeding by attracting to myself to forces I wish use and the co-operation of other people.

I induce others to serve me because of my willingness to serve others.
I eliminate hatred, envy, jealousy, cynicism, anger and fear;

Because I know that a negative attitude towards others will never bring me success.

I cause other t believe in me because I believe in them and in myself.

This is my creed, this is my quest,

To never stop striving for the top, to always keep moving forward,

To always be the very best I can be.

I am the power, I am the magic, I cannot be stopped, I am a winner.

I promise to always be true to myself, because I am the creator and master of my universe, and I am

Responsible for making a positive difference in the world and to the quality of life in it.

I live in constant and never ending improvement!

That's all I have to share today, Make it a great one I am sure all of you reading this certainly deserve it. Also make it a great weekend.

How Aware Are You?

Hi all,
just a reminder that 'Movember' is still on going and if you haven't yet donated you can still do so by visiting the title link or here.

Many thanks in advance for your generosity.

So now with this post I want to pick up on a subject that I touched on a few weeks ago, and that was of course the Be Do Have I have had a some great feed back from that so thank you all very much.

So now I want to help you out there who want to know where you can start. If we have the ultimate control over our outcome, simply by choosing it, then where do we start?

Well first you have to identify what it is that you want to change. Is it that you want to loose some weight? Do you want to quit smoking? Do you want to create more income? Do you want to have a better relationship?
We have control over all of these things, now this does come with a caveat of course, and that is we have control over these things, once we have taken responsibility for where we are in life right now.
Lets take being over weight for an example, are you over weight because you were picked on as a child? Your parents are large? You're 'big boned'?
Or are you over weight because you eat to much? You have an unbalanced diet? You don't exercise regularly?

Now hopefully you can already see the difference in what is written there. If not, the first set of questions asked if you were over weight due to an outside influence, and the second set asked if it was due to something you were doing, or not doing.
So by blaming the outside influence you are striping yourself of the the power you have to change it. If you are stepping up and taking responsibility you have the absolute power to change it. This is how.

Once we have identified what it is that we wish to change, then we need to know why we want to change it. If for example we wanted to give up smoking, then the obvious one might be for our health.
So now this is where the topic links back with the post I made a few weeks ago of the BE DO HAVE. No I am not talking with a forked tongue.
Bare with me here.
Now when most people want to give something up, or to change something, they look at all the things they are not, i.e. if someone was to quit smoking, more often than not they will say I am going to give up or quit and really who likes to give up at anything? Or worse be a quitter? This is where your BE DO HAVE comes into play.
Now instead of quitting or giving up why not become a non smoker? If you can see the difference in that statement then you are already half way to achieving your goal, any goal. If not then keep looking, it will come to you.
Alright, now you have become a non smoker you are essentially BEing, what then are your actions? What do you DO on a daily basis that is consistent with who you are BEing? Once you have mastered these then you will ultimately HAVE.

So if like energy attracts like energy and BEing is living in the end result, regardless of the appearances around you, and DOing is actions that let you HAVE the results.
What does that person in which you are BEing, do on a daily basis?

This post today was one sent to help you tap into your inner self, to give you the questions you need to be able to make the change that you want to make.

I want to leave you with this today;

"All that we are is the result of what we have thought.
The mind is everything.
What we think, we become"

Two Weeks Into Movember!

Well what a week it has been, and two weeks since we started growing for Movember! Must say, this year is somewhat different from other years.
If you wish to donate towards Movember and Mens health issues then you can click the title link or click here.

So what else has been happening? Well in the past few months I have talked a lot about personal growth, and the journey that we are on. It is fun filled, and not necessarily in the sense that you might think. I have been getting feed back through other mediums and it is fair to say that it has been very humbling and has truly hleped me to grow, and after all, is that not what life is about? As Kurek Ashely says "Your either Evolving, or your Desolving" You see, nothing stays the same!

There is a lot to be said about 'getting to know yourself' you can have some massive insights in to your self and your habits, after all, we are creatures of habit. I know that I have been far from perfect in the past, and there is nothing to predict that I will always be perfect in the future, that does not mean that I should give up, although this is what most people think you should do.
"Never let perfect get in the way of better"
What does that mean? It simply means this, do not let the fact that you are not perfect at something in particular keep you from trying, and giving it another go.

Have you ever heard of the fast food franchise called Kentucky Fried Chicken? Well if not it was founded by a man by the Name of Colonel Harland Sanders. Col. Sanders received his first social security cheque at the age of 65 of $99, he was broke, and as you can read right here. All he had was a chicken recipe. Long story short, he was told no and had the door slammed in his face over 1000 times. Who would have given up after the first one, or the tenth, how about the fiftieth? It would be safe to say that he did not let perfect get in the way of better.
Another example, when we first learn to ride a bike, we start off, well most of us, with training wheels, and then slowly we get weened off those and slowly but surely we ride, not perfect at first, however we do get better.
If we let perfect get in the way of better then we may have never learnt to ride.

So where I am going with all this is here, as long as we keep refining and honing our skill, and as long as we keep moving on, we are going to have success. Here is the kicker though, it starts in your mind. I know too simple right?
Wrong. It is not too simple at all, the problem is that we as creatures of habit like to over complicate things, how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Simple.
It is safe to say that during the time we have been here I have been working on me, and I sm so pleased that I have, it has helped me to see things in a light that most people never have the pleasure of, and that is something I am truly grateful for.
When you are truly grateful for what you have, how ever little or large it may be then every problem, or issue fades away. Its not that it disappears, it is more the fact that the universe will give you the right tools needed to cope with what ever is going on.

Thats about me for now, however I wanted to leave you with this, a little something that Tony Rush posted on facebook, its great "I Got Scammed" Enjoy the read, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Be.....Do......Have!

It is safe to say that one of the very the corner stones of Personal Development is the principle of BE, DO and HAVE.
You hear it all the time, be the person you want to be, do the things that person does and then you will have their results. I have spoken of this before, and it something that has been bugging me, why has it been bugging me? It was bugging me for one simple reason, when I first heard it, I was open to it, in fact it made perfect sense. As I began to put into practise the principles of BE DO HAVE I immediately got results. Wow I thought, how simple is this, why are not more people using this simple philosophy? Obviously it works! There are any number of reasons why people are not using the principle, fear, lack of faith, self doubt. These would be the most common. I want to go back to my experience however, and the reason for this is quite simply because I was not actually using the principle correctly, and because of this I inadvertently caused a few people a bit of frustration, and for this I do sincerely apologise. Those people should know who they are, and if not, my thoughts are with them regardless. As I have previously posted, I have not always got it right, and I really do need to be, and am truly thankful for that, as if that had not happened I would have never really seen how the BE DO HAVE principle really works.

I spoke with a friend of mine today by the name of Kurek Ashley, this is a guy who really knows what its like to have been down and climbed back up, he is a shining example of what 'can be'. For those of you who have not heard of Kurek he is a 'Peak Performance' coach, he coached the Australian Woman's Olympic Beach Volley Ball team to a gold medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He gives one of the best examples of the BE DO HAVE principle on his book 'How Would Love Respond?' in Chapter 11 'The Fortune Teller'. I suggest if you have not read this book that you must!
If anyone knows about pain and suffering Kurek does, and as he said to me today,

"I've been down the road of being at the bottom, there is nothing new for me to experience there".
If you were not looking for it, or did not quite understand the BE DO HAVE principle then you might well miss the message, not that it is not written well, in fact the contrary can be said, no what I mean, is that if you are not ready for the message, you may not see it right away.

I listened to the wake up to success call this morning with Tony Rush from Liberty League international, and he had a guest on the call, another person that I am blessed enough to call my friend, Shannon Lavenia. Now what Shannon and Tony were talking about was about playing games and being able to create cash on demand because of the games. It was very entertaining and very insightful. She also highlighted the very heart of the BE DO HAVE principle. It was because of this that I finally can see the easiest way of explaining it.
When you are in a state of BEing, a lot of us miss the point. Some of us think that acting in the certain way is BEing, and I guess in part that is true. For me however I think the best way of BEing is by living in the end result let me say that again just to sink in;

Living in the end result

For Natalie Cook, 2000 Olympic Gold Medalist, it was buying her display cabinet for her gold medal 3 years prior to winning it.
It is BEing able to live in the moment, even tho the moment may be years away. It is BEing able to stay true to your outcome in spite of what others are saying or doing to cause adversity.

To me, and of course this is my opinion, to be able to see your future so clearly and vividly in spite of what is actually happening around you, and actually living with a knowingness that what you are doing is the right thing and that it will produce amazing results is where your power lies.
When you are consistent with BEing then the DOing becomes apart of your natural flow, and therefore you must HAVE the Results.
Never ever let go of that clarity and vision, for the moment you do, you have a long climb to get back to where you were. It will not insermountable, however it may take more time.

I can not explain it any simpler than that.

I want to leave you with something Buddha said;

'There is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way'

Bigger than Myself

At times in life, we have all had thoughts of grandeur and what life would be like with no world problems, no famine, no wars and of course to have a total abundance of worldly pleasures. Anyone who does not agree with this has obviously forgotten their childhood.

So what stops us from dreaming, and striving toward a better future, after all, if it starts with a thought and a choice why do we stop? Some of us when we are so close to succeeding in what it is we set out to achieve. Could it be that it has something to do with it ‘not being normal’ or that it does not conform to what society thinks is right? Who says society has it right? It would be safe to say that society is really the masses not so? That being the case, the masses make up the have nots in life, therefore it does not make sense to listen to society. You are not going to be able to please all people all of the time, so as long as you are staying true to yourself and your outcome, you cannot lose. Just a little something to think about.

Now bigger than myself, there is one sure way to ensure the flow of abundance to you, and that is by giving to others, to causes ‘bigger than yourself’ not everyone will get that theory, again that is not my issue and it is certainly not my intention to convince you of the logic or reasoning behind it. I have donated to charities for some time, NZ Red Cross, Bernado’s, World Vision and other worthwhile causes like Surf Lifesaving. Every year around this time of year there are two very big charities that raise funds for their cause. They are breast cancer awareness and prostate cancer. Both of these resonate with me as I have experienced what Breast Cancer can do to a family, and as for prostate cancer, it could easily happen to me.

I have registered to raise money for mens health for the month of 'Movember'

During Movember (the month formerly known as November) I'm growing a Mo. That's right I'm bringing the Mo back because I'm passionate about tackling men's health issues and being proactive in the fight against men's depression and prostate cancer.

To donate to my Mo you can either:

  1. Click this link here and donate online using your credit card or PayPal account, or
  2. Write a cheque payable to ‘Movember Foundation', referencing my Registration Number 1911686 and mailing it to:

Movember Foundation
PO Box 292
Prahran VIC 3181

Remember, all donations over $2 are tax deductible.

The money raised by Movember is used to raise awareness of men's health issues and donated to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and beyondblue - the national depression initiative. The PCFA and beyondblue will use the funds to fund research and increase support networks for those men who suffer from prostate cancer and depression.

Did you know:

  • Depression affects 1 in 6 men....most don't seek help. Untreated depression is a leading risk factor for suicide.
  • Last year in Australia 18,700 men were diagnosed with prostate cancer and more than 2,900 died of prostate cancer - equivalent to the number of women who will die from breast cancer annually.

For those that have supported Movember in previous years you can be very proud of the impact it has had and can check out the details at: [ Fundraising Outcomes ].

Movember culminates at the end of month Gala Partés. If you would like to be part of this great night you'll need to purchase a [ Gala Parté Ticket ].

Thanks for your support Andrew.

More information is available at http://www.movember.com/.

Movember is proudly grown by Holden and Schick.

It is also that time of the month where we change the book of the month, this month I would like to go with a book that really is one of the first and best known personal development books, it is 'Think and Grow Rich' by Nepoleon Hill. The study that was commissioned to effectively publish this book was done so by Andrew Carneigie, US Steal Magnate of the eary 20th Century. This book has a great hidden message that will come out only when you are ready to hear it, it is a great book to read, and re-read yearly.

It served me well in its first reading and continues to do so today.
